Online Description
This online course provides an overview of preparedness steps that can be developed to improve Healthcare Workers’ response to mass casualty incidents involving radiological contamination.
The participants will be able to identify and follow the operational plan contents that enable them to respond to a radiologically contaminated patient in the hospital setting—including key elements, tasks, and responsibilities during response through to recovery. Participants will be introduced to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Community Lifelines.
