Online Description
This online course will provide Healthcare Workers/First Receivers foundational knowledge on the hazards of radioactive
material, signs and symptoms and biological effects of radiation on victims, and present resources that can be
contacted to assist in the treatment of victims in a radiological incident. The Course incorporates the radiological data
and knowledge required to carry out the policies and procedures of a hospital's/medical facilities' Emergency
Operation Plans (EOP) that will help limit the threats of a radiological mass casualty incident.
